I was having problems wearing contacts, after just 4 hours my eyes would get to dry and irritated. I actually stopped wearing them for a few months, until then I thought to switch my solution and man what a difference that made. I"m back to wearing my contacts everyday with no discomfort, I will keep using this solution for now on for sure.
I have been using this for years by now and it"s a great contact lens solutions, I tried other brands too but didn"t like the comfort with others. I recommend this to others.
I didn"t realize how specific formulations can work well for some types of contacts and not at all for others. I"ve tried many brands and formulations over the years and Opti-Free Replenish has worked the best for me, by far (I wear ProClear Toric lenses). My optometrist confirmed my suspicion that even high-priced, name brands that aren"t ideal for your specific type of contact can lead to eye dryness and general discomfort. Please don"t settle for even mild discomfort as irritation to delicate eye-tissues can lead to long-term damage. My advice is to consult your optometrist about the best cleaning/storage solution for you and your type/brand of contacts. It really does make all the difference.
