Was once used as a opium mimic. This is the ONLY tincture we produce that has touched alcohol, When we first harvested it, we immediately immersed it into alcohol because the plant has no shelf life. Later, we cooked off the alcohol and tinctured it in glycerin. A glycerin tincture is made by submerging the plant material in glycerin instead of alcohol. Glycerin also acts as a preservative for the final product. Glycerin provides a alternative for people who choose to abstain from all alcohol or cannot tolerate alcohol.
