No more snurf

I am most impressed with this product. I hate taking decongestants because I live in a dry climate and don’t need to get any drier. My nose ran like a faucet and after 3-4 months of that, my throat was raw and I was really getting peeved. I use one spray per nostril and this lasts all day. The best part is that I don’t feel like a desert the way I would with any of the decongestants I have tried so I consider this a win-win. I would like to revisit this review after I have tried this product for 30 days and see if the effect lasts.
As far as I can tell, there seem to be no side effects, no dry mouth, sore nose etc. I didn’t realize that this was available over the counter but am glad that it is.

I am so glad this is available now without a prescription! We have been using this for years with an rx. My son has always had pretty bad allergies. He was always prescribed Flonase, Allegra to be used daily. He also used rx Claritin in addition when it was really bad. Then Allegra and Claritin became available otc, so we continued to buy it that way.
He had started on just Allegra and later the doctor added Flonase and that’s when we really started to see improvement. It does work very good. It is not an immediate relief. It takes some time to build up in your system, like a steroid. When my son first started using it, the Dr told us it could be a few weeks until we started to see that it was helping, but it actually started working within the first several days. It was the only thing that gave him total relief from the itchy eyes and nose. His eyes used to get so bad – so red and itchy and swollen. He used to have sneezing fits where he would sneeze literally 20+ times in a row. Flonase got rid of all that for him. You use it daily so that it stays in your system and provides constant control. There were still some times when he would have to take Claritin on top of the Allegra and Flonase, but that is only when his allergies were super bad – all the drugs work on different things and there is no allergy med that does it all, unfortunately. We always have allergy eye drops on hand as well. He was about 9 when he started using Flonase (he is 20 now) and he never had a problem using it, even with being so young. It is such a light mist. He never had any issues, no burning or any side effects at all. I never had to fight with him to use it since it was so quick and easy and he knew it helped so much.
It is nice that you can just buy this now and skip the doctor visit.
