I started using this awhile ago and it is one of the best skin treatments out there. I like it better than the mud treatment I had at a spa (birthday gift). I love the fact that it’s vegan, I always look for all natural, or organic, or vegan beauty care. I also like that it is ready to use, some other products you have to mix with water or vinegar. Use it sparingly – you don’t need a thick layer on your skin, you are just wasting the product. A thin layer works very well, and if you don’t use it often and the product in the jar gets a little thick/dry, just add a little water and mix. I’ve had mixed results with blackheads, sometimes it only takes one use, sometimes it can take 2 or 3 before the black heads disappear completely, I guess it depends on your skin. It does help with oily skin, so even though I don’t have a problem with serious breakouts, I have noticed that I don’t break out as much and it’s becoming less and less each time.
Mud and clay treatments like this can dry your skin a little because they remove EVERYTHING, and sometimes they can encourage extra oil production by your skin, so it’s important to use a good moisturizer so that your skin doesn’t dry out or over produce oil. I use this with the mudBel Essence All-Natural Anti-Wrinkle Treatment – Intensive Anti Aging, Facial Lift Skin Care Formula – 1.5oz. This cream is excellent – it adds oil to your skin without causing breakouts, and is the best moisturizer I have found. Using the two products together, I have never had better skin in my life. The Glamglow clears everything from my skin, reduces pores, exfoliates, and then the Bel Essence hydrates my skin better than anything else I’ve used. After a couple of months of using both, my skin is clearer, brighter, super soft, and no more fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead. The combination is amazing. One tip – I have normal to dry skin, so although I use the cream everyday, I use the mud once or twice a week. A friend of mine uses it more often, she has slightly oily skin.

I saw both good reviews on Amazon as well as Sephora but this product was cheaper on Amazon (about $10 cheaper).
You can actually see the mask picking up the oil from your pores. As it says on the packaging “Pore-Matrix will reveal dots of vacuum extractions, absorption & encapsulation of sebum oils, bacteria & toxins.” SO TRUE! All along my t-zone area, which is the oiliest on my face, there were lighter dots where the oil was being sucked up. As time went on, the dots became larger, which showed the mask was doing it’s job.
After washing off the mask, my skin was super clean and soft. I applied my usual moisturizer and usually my face becomes super shiny after an hour but after using this product, my face was not super shiny.
Highly recommend and I will be purchasing again when I run out. The size of the product is a lot smaller than I imagined but if you use sparingly, it should lasts a while.

I use this product two to three times a week, pre- or post-shower. I generally leave it on for 20 minutes or longer, cover the whole face or just the problem areas if I am in a hurry.
The GLAMGLOW Mud has certainly made a difference, especially in clearing out the pores on my nose. It does a good job of removing oil and dirt, as well as minimizing pores. It is fairly gentle. You might notice a tingle or slight sting if you have a pimple you’ve been picking at that’s a little raw. Otherwise, I have had no issues with sensitivity and my face is always calm and smooth after a treatment.
This product is definitely worth the money – I probably get about 10 treatments per jar. After all, you aren’t loading half the jar onto your face: a thin layer will do the trick! It does what it says it will do AND you get the perverse pleasure of seeing the oil from your face seep up to the surface of the mask – a must for all weirdos who take strange pleasure in seeing things like that.
It’s important to know that a clearing mask WILL cause you to break out in a day or two. This is part of its job: bringing bacteria and debris to the surface so that it can rid your face of these issues. A lot of people will be upset when a mask does this and insist that it’s a bad product or not doing it’s job, but that is why these masks work so well. What you will see is that, when used regularly, you will get beyond the triggered breakouts and enter a state where your skin is healthier and clean and you can use the mask without breakouts. You have to endure a few treatments followed by breakouts to see results, but it is so worth it.
